Mature Students

Welcome to Ryerson University! The information below is for all incoming mature students. We are here to make your experiences at Ryerson great. Below, we have a list of pathways and involvement opportunities that are available to you during your time at Ryerson.

Definition of a Mature Student:

  • You are 21 years of age or older in the year which you will begin studies
  • Undergrad and Part Time students

We welcome all students that fit the description above and encourage you to join us at #RoadtoRyerson 2017, Ryerson’s Central Orientation Week! There are a number of organizations who work to promote and achieve success of mature students, including:

Along with these organizations, we have Orientation events for all mature students!

Are you 21 or over? Making the transition from College to University? These events for you! We’re are holding the annual Mature Students Garden Party and better than ever we will have décor with refreshments and snacks. New to this year, we will have Outdoor Party for Mature Students to bring their families, friends and supporters. This event is a time and space where you can enjoy activities with you fellow peers, network and learn about the resources on campus that can make your university experience successful and enjoyable.
